AEI Lighting's APOLLO 3 LED High Bay Wins Next Generation Luminaires' Recognition Award

AEI Lighting's Apollo 3 LED High Bay lighting fixture has won the 2014 Next Generation Luminaires' Recognition Award for the Industrial Luminaire category in its SSL Indoor Lighting Design Competition & Showcase.

The winners of the 2014 Next Generation Luminaires Indoor Competition include 57 commercial LED lighting products that were "Recognized" winners and received awards for excellence. The judging panel selected the luminaires on the basis of color, illuminance, glare control, light distribution, serviceability, value and appearance.

The judging session was conducted on August 4-7, 2014, and the awards event took place during The LED Show in Los Angeles, CA, on September 16-18, 2014. 

The Next Generation Luminaire judges reacted "positively to the aesthetics, color quality and glare control of this high bay luminaire, noting 'the remarkable good glare control delivered'" of AEI's Apollo 3 fixture.

The AEI Lighting Apollo model three-lamp unit tested is coded AP03-300W-50K-UNI by AEI Lighting. The Apollo high bay luminaire is also available in 4, 6 and 7-lamp configurations with custom configurations possible upon AEI consultation.

The Next Generation Luminaires competition was created to recognize and promote excellence in the design energy-efficient LED commercial lighting luminaries. By encouraging new designs and technologies, NGL aims to increase market awareness and acceptance of LEDs for general illumination use.
